Zapote School

Located deep in the coastal department of Escuintla, reaching this community requires traveling 8 km on a rugged dirt road and fording four rivers without bridges.
Families there survive by harvesting coffee, sugarcane, and other crops.
Children often lack consistent access to education, nutrition, and healthcare.

We serve through donations and right now 200 children aged 5 to 16 receive

Nutrition & Health Support
This is more than a school
it’s a safe space where 200 children receive education, values, and care every day

El Membrillal School

Opened in 2010 in the hilly farmland of Sacatepéquez, our program began by offering distance learning and daily meals to a small group of children from underprivileged families.
Over 100 children between the ages of 7 and 12 are currently receiving comprehensive education
Dozens of families have seen new opportunities thanks to the program and the school’s educational and spiritual support has strengthened the local community.

Spiritual Growth
In a world that’s constantly changing and challenging new generations, our schools invite children to meet Jesus and each morning we begin with prayer and God’s Word.

Medical Clinics
Every year, our schools host two medical clinics dedicated to providing healthcare services to children and their families, thus strengthening the overall well-being of our communities. Teams from churches and partner organizations in the United States collaborate in this project, supplying medical personnel, supplies, and logistical support to enhance the quality and reach of these clinics.

UP COMING PROJECT 2027
In October 2022, we started a support group for single mothers in San Lucas, through Iglesia Galilea. Recognizing the growing need, in 2024 we started the Nido de Esperanza project—a childcare center for children aged 0 to 4 whose mothers are single or facing risk. This nurturing space will offer comprehensive care for young children during their formative years while providing support for mothers in a safe and welcoming environment.
We look forward to the opening of our childcare center in the coming year 2027
